This plaque in Lime is taken from an old photo of the destruction Albert in france in the first world war.
The story of Basilica of the golden virgin is that if the golden virgin was ever toppled off the top of the Basilica then the town would also fall to prevent this after the golden virgin had been hit soldiers climed to the top of the spire at the dead of night & reinforced the golden virgin. She did not fall nor did Albert.
